Young MMA star Sean O’Malley has emerged as a UFC star. At just 25 years old, the American is still undefeated in his career, after 12 fights, four of which have already been in the UFC.
Who closely follows the youngster’s success is Brazilian Augusto ‘Tanquinho’ Mendes, who is responsible for improving the fight on the athlete’s floor and spares no praise for the bantamweight talent.
According to ‘Tanquinho,’ the public has not yet seen the full potential of O’Malley and highlighted the potential of his ward. Last Saturday, the Brazilian was next to the American in his commitment at UFC 250, when he knocked out Eddie Wineland, in the first round itself.
Mendes also had the experience of fighting within the most famous octagon in the world. From 2016 to 2017, the Brazilian made three presentations (1-2) but then decided to leave the organization.
Without acting in mixed martial arts since June 2019, when he fought in the event “ACA 96: Goncharov vs. Johnson”, the ‘carioca’ has focused his attention on wrestling events. Despite the uncertainty about the return of other MMA competitions, ‘Tanquinho’ still does not know when he will appear again. Still, he continues to work with the excellent future star, Sean O’Malley.
