Ryan Benoit’s discharge has opened the door for Zarrukh Adashev to make his UFC debut this Saturday.
Adashev, who holds a 3-1 professional record, will be greeted in his promotional debut by thirty-fight veteran Tyson Nam.
Canadian media TSN was the first to report on this new pairing.
Adashev, 27-year-old Bantamweight, competed for Bellator between October 2018 and October 2019, winning all three of his fights, two of them by TKO.
Nam (18-12), a competitor since 2006, hopes to claim his first victory over the octagon.
The 36-year-old fighter currently holds a 0-2 record with the UFC as he fell on the judges’ cards against Sergio Pettis and Kai-Kara France.
This Saturday’s card is held from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
